0,5 l bottle. Unclear golden with a very creamy white two finger head in the glass. Low caramell smell, little bit fruity in the background. Taste starts with caramell, increasing alcoholic but more in smooth way. Some present hop, some sweetness. Not bad for a Heller Bock.

€-Fläschla (Great Garching Gift!!!): Golden, hazy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head, complex sweet-bitter aroma of honeyish pale malt, spiced with traces of dried fruits, with traces of vanilla and wood as well and last, but not least, herbal hops; nearly solid sweet-bitter flavour, almost full bodied; lingering and drier herbal-bitter and sweet honeyish finish with a slight alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. A well balanced courageously hopped Doppelbock. Another franconian goody...

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish

500ml Bottle - Golden/light amber with a foamy head. Honey, pears, syrup and caramel in the aroma. Fairly sweet and hoppy taste, quite warming, with notes of honey, syrup, grass, pears and orange. Nice but a bit sickly and cloying so loses some marks for that.

0.5 bottle, light gold. Hoppy sweet aroma. Rather sweet with a lot of hops to balance it, but what do you expect for an 8.8% beer. Quite clean for such a beer; light buttery full mouthfeel but not as overly sweet as might be expected.

Bottle. Rather clear golden color with white head. Aroma is honeymelon, ethanol, honey. Taste is honey, boozy, pears, rather hoppy, but also very sweet and hard-hitting. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Quite well-made, but also a bit overdone.

Bottle. Deep golden, off-white head. Sweet sugary honey aroma, a hint smoke. Medium full body, sticky Bienenstich, fermented pear, light, spice, a bit too sticky sweet.
