Cask at Charlieโs Bar, Copenhagen. A dark amber beer with a lazing thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some hints of caramel. Fruity malty sweetish flavor with hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty fruity caramel finish.

Cask, Egremont Ferry, Wallasey. Darkish copper colour with a lingering creamy off white head. Nondescript slightly malty aroma. Flavour showed some hop and fruit to balance the prevailing maltiness. Pretty average bitter on the whole.

Cask (handpump) @ The York, London N1, England.Clear light to medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light heavy bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. (030808)

A nice, fragile white head rests upon a shining mahogany body. Malt-fruity aroma. Flavoured by dark and dried bittersweet fruit added by dark berries. Mild, dry bitter finish (Cask at GBBF, 07.08.2008).

Bottle. (tasting at papsoeโs) Clear, copper beer with a dense, off-white head. Malty, slightly roasted nose and flavor. The flavor has a vague but pleasant hoppy fruityness and bitterness as well, especially towards the finish. Medium, quite dry mouthfeel. A bit brown-ale-ish for a bitter, but a decent beer indeed.
