Het moutrecept bestaat uit meer dan de helft tarwe en voor de rest gemoute gerst. Het is een kettle sour, wat wil zeggen dat de wort gedurende 48 uur is aangezuurd door een melkzuurbacterie in de brouwketel tot 3,1 pH. Na het aanzuren wordt de wort gekookt, waardoor deze bacterie dood gaat. Tijdens de kook is er koriander en engelwortel aan het bier toegevoegd voor een citrus-achtige kruidigheid. Zeezout van Nederlandse bodem van Zeeuwsche Zoute geeft een licht ziltige smaak aan het bier, geheel in stijl van de Gose. Duitse hoppen en een neutraal gist profiel maken het bier af. Alsof er een engeltje over je tong piest!

Pours a clear yellow colour and a dense white head with 1 mm retention. Aroma's: fruity, citrussy, herbs. Retronasal it's fruity, citrus, tropical, sourish. Flavour is light sour with maybe a pich of salt. Light bodied, good carbonation. Fairly short finish, a bit grainish. Pleasant.

@home poured into a teku glass. Slightly hazy pale yellow, good frothy white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma wheat, lemon, lime, lemon balm, briny notes. Taste light sweet and sourish, lemony, fruity, salty notes. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, fruity sweet and sour aftertaste, gooseberries, light salty notes, well-made, refreshing, very nice.

Well done clean gose. Super light and bright bubbly with high drinkablilty. Yap zuid Amsterdam
