22/11 0.33 l bottle brought from Czech Republic. It poured golden body with small head. Honey and, to lesser extent, egg malty aroma, topped with lemony hops. Sweetish flavor, weaker, a bit medicinal and alcoholic. Medium to thinner in body with relatively long finish that, among the others contained the alcoholic bite. Expectedly boring and unexpectedly bad.

Bottle from Co-op Inverness (Green bottle)
Light golden..clear...bit of a frothy head that dissipates to thin layer
Aroma - strong skunk aroma that dissipated somewhat after a minute...light spicy lager hops...cereal malts
Taste - spicy lager hops....light sweet caramel...bit of light honey...lots of alcohol...not much going on
Palate - soft carb...medium body..oily quite viscous texture. Finish - dry...sweet pale malts...alcohol has a drying affect on the palate
Overall - Not impressed with this....it’s a lot better than Special Brew though

Pours dark gold with a small head.Nose show the same grassy and spicy hops as the regular Budvar, but loads more rich malt.Similar flavours, but the hops don’t show as much. Very malty, hints of golden syrup and brown sugar. Very sweet.Nice syrupy body and moderate carbonation.

Bottle (as Budejovicky Budvar Premier Select). Poured clear amber/ gold with some short lived white head. Aroma has some grassy hops and maltiness. Medium body and medium carbonation. Full flavour but not very interesting: sweet toffeeish start with somewhat bitter finish and the high alcohol is a dominant part of the taste. Overall it is OK, interesting, a bit odd.

330ml bottle. Pours light golden with no head. Aroma is some malt and the Saaz hops are in there, too. Sweet, honey malt to start, slightly crisp, hoppy finish.

Found in Bratislava, marked simply "Bud premier select". Very appealing aroma, hint of lemon, grain, and malts. Has a nice golden colour. Taste is tangy a mix of hops, heavy on the lemon, as well as malts. Okay palate, a little of a bitter finish. Not bad but a little too sour for me.

Deep golden to amber color. Creamy, short head. Full malt flavor, like a bock. Sweet with a bit of caramel. Sweet flavor with alcohol strength. Not much overt hop taste, but it comes across as fairly well balanced. Tastes even stronger than it is, I fear. Malt finish, a touch of hops. Good maltiness, but not much character besides that. Relatively clean and crisp, medium body. Pretty highly carbonated. Not bad at all, although not really special either. I quite like drinking it, although I somehow feel that it is kind of cheap.

Bottle @ Supermarket, Prague. Pours clear golden with a creamy fluffy white head and lacings. Nose is sweet malts, alcohol and a bit of fruit. A vague warmth from alcohol without it being too dominant of prickly. Medium and smooth palate. An OK E.S.L.
