A beer of golden colour and distinct malt taste. It matures for at least 200 days in our lager cellars.

BOTTLE 50CL as "Premier Select".
Look: clear golden-amber with a white frothy small head.
Aroma: malty, sweet, a bit metallic.
Taste: simple sweetness balanced by light hops bitterness, slightly phenolic, but not really alcoholic.
Pretty decent for the style.

Nose is good (for a larger) cereal and malt. Taste is cereal, grain, sugar a little honey and a slightly too boozy finish. The malts overwhelm and there is not much in the way of hop. Mouthfeel is good and full. It’s not bad for a larger but too sweet

Flaske (gave fra Petro) på Holmens aktivitetsdag feb-14, under stegmeskingen: nydelig farge men trekk for kort skum. Myk Saazaroma og slank munnfylde for sine 7,6. En riktig god og varmende pilsner.

Bottle at Krah Krah, Vienna. Golden to amber clear body wih thin white head, that qickly disappears completely. Aroma of grain, grass, caramel. Taste of grain, grass, bread, herbs, sugar, pretty sweet, little bitter, also slightly sour. Medium mouthfeel, average carbonation, grainy sweet and slightly alcohol warming finish. Overall pretty boring and a bit too sweet.

330ml bottle from my local Co-Op of all places. Really quite impressed by their ability to source these random rarities. This doesn’t really bare much relation to normal Budvar. Obviously it has a higher ABV but it’s hidden well without much of the sickly sweetness I expected. Overall, an ok beer but would choose the original any day.

0.33l bottle. A nice grassy hop aroma with some bready backbone. Taste is bready, caramelly with some hoppyness. Medium bodied, the high alcohol is well hidden. A good one.
