Keg at Pembury Tavern, as B:STRONG Fresh Hopped, sampled April 2019. Pours clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma: grains, grass, fruitiness, butter hints. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, pale malts, grassy hop. Medium body with average carbonation.

Bottle with Peter, 4th September 2020. Pours a light golden beer with big bubbles. Aroma Is booze, caramel and yeast. Taste is boozy, caramel, sweet, some yeast. It’s not great

500ml bottle. Clear, dark orangey golden to amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, plain grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is slightly sweet, minimally sugary, pale malty, slightly doughy yeasty, minimally strawy, rather plain, bitter hoppy overtones. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, gentle carbonation. Well produced, very clean, flawless, therefore high ratings in the B-grades (appearance and mouthfeel), not overly impressive, rather simple and monotonous concerning A-grades (aroma and taste). You can feel the brewing experience behind, but the goal intended to be reached here isn't overly ambitious.

# 336; 6/2016. Silný ležák s výraznou sladkostí a bez patrnějšího chmelení. Chuťově poměrně prázdný, jednoduchý. Nezajímavý.

Bottle. Golden blonde. Soft maltaroma with hints of grass and candied fruit. Malty sweetish, slightly alcoholic flavor with hints of grass. A strong lager of decent quality, yet nothing exciting.

Bottle from Co-op, Chobham. Sweet yeasty aroma with a hint of hops. Gold. Translucent white head sticks to the periphery. There is some low key bitterness crossed with syrupy sweetness. Results in a sour edge. Medium bodied. Solid sticky mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Relatively abrupt finish. Develops a boozy warmth. Doesn't blow me away but I could happily drink a few especially if trying to get pissed.
