(Keg at Drink Baar, as B:STRONG Fresh Hopped, 20190419) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, fruitiness, lightly butter and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, fruitiness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. A decent hoppy brew with grassy hops and rather high ABV.

Tap. Head of Steam, Leeds. Clear gold. Thin white head. Nose has sweet grain. Privet leaf. Taste is similarly sweet. Some privet leaf bitterness. Medium body. Low carbonation. A bit sticky. Finishes like a dirty lager. Not great, overall.

Bottle. Dark golden with a short-lived white head. Aroma of grains, earthy hops and alcohol. Taste is grains, malts, cereals and a little bit of spicy hops. Sweet and boozy. Medium to strong carbonation. Alcohol is very prominent. Not so sure what to think about this one but then again I'm also not so sure what to think of the style per se.

Klare, goldene Farbe mit mittelporiger, fester Schaumkrone. Im Geruch Malz, etwas Karamell, Hopfen und Alkohol. Getreidiger, malziger und hopfiger Geschmack, alle drei Komponenten halten sich die Waage, der Alkohol ist spürbar, aber prinzipiell gut eingebunden. Kein Meilenstein der Braukunst, aber trinkbar.

330 ml bottle seved in flute. Dark golden colour like Pilsener, small foam head. Citrus, metal, lemonade. Pils-like bitterness and quite sweet. Alcohol well hidden. Soft carbonated, watery texture, medium body. Overall seems to be a strong and sweet Pilsener. Not the beer of my kind.
