bottle, pours ligh tgold, no head. Skunky aroma. Nice malty flavors, mildly sour. Definately not a marzen, more like a strong lager, too light.

Bottle from angrypirate06. Pours with a very pale golden body with a small white head. Too light in hue for even a domestic German Marzen. Aroma is grainy and a bit corn like (reinheitsgebot?), toasty with light metallic notes and a sweetness. Taste is grainy and finishes dry but with some odd and inappropriate fruit esters in the finish. Thin and dry. Not really good.

This is my first beer from this company and the first impression is not enticing. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium dark amber color with a small white head. The aroma was lightly spicy, sour and a bit skunky. The flavor was tangy, bitter and had a touch of caramel and crisp floral hops. The finish was short, tangy and bitter. Blah.

"S5L2F3T4O9 Waryfest: Looks and smells rather decent, nothing offensive in the bouquet. Perhaps the ol’ shnoz does detect some blast furnace slag down in there. Taste is initially a little tangy bitter then it milds out to a medicine like sweetness that grows on ya. Has much more personality than I was expecting for this beer. It certainly is not a lade-back beer by any means. Very good carbonation and bubbliness, which is welcome. Has a weird lager hop or malty bitterness that just keeps hangen around on the finish. Session was different for a change. "

Draft at Ballydoyle (Downer’s Grove) in a mug with a whole inch above the .5 L plimsoll. Still a bit of original Märzen in this import. Amber color, clear with a thin line of foam. Malty smell with a bit of lager yeast still there. A good, hearty malt taste works its way down very smoothly Satisfying and filling.

Bottle. Pours a transparent gold with a big, fluffy head and light aromas: sweet malt with a touch of grassy hops... Flavor is very sweet... malt presence is honey-like, and finish is kind of grassy without much other complexity to merit commentary. Refreshing Oktoberfest.

Light golden-brown colour. Fresh grainy aroma and light caramel. Somewhat watery of body, and a little caramelly. Reminds me of some Russian dark lagers.

Bottle from BevMo. Orange tinged gold color with a huge white head. Fresh veg aroma. Not bad, just not beer. Rather light body with very mild carbonation. Flavor is really sweet malt with some sort of herb/veg flavor. Maybe even a hint of mint. It’s incredibly unusual, and somewhere there’s a beer drinker who would love this. It’s just not me. Finish is rather clean, but grainy. The aroma, appearance, flavor and palate aren’t that bad. Despite that, I just don’t enjoy it. DP.
