330mL bottle at French Cafe, pours a cloudy dark bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma is dull on the hops, with bready malt, light caramel and faint earthy hops. Flavour is also lacking in hops, with bready malt, sweet cloying caramel and subdued earthy hops. I get a trace of diacetyl too which ends up ruining this. Not impressive.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear dark grayish-amber, creamy white head. The nose is pure sticky caramel, not much else. Similar taste, somewhat cloying caramel sweetness, citrus jam, followed by moderate grassy piney bitterness. Really short on hops, but still... Decent.
