Jun. ’14. A 1 l plastic bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! It poured hazy copper body with small head. Some orange and herbal hop aroma, nicely malted with bread. Flavor was lightly bitter, only a bit malty with touch of caramel over herbal notes. Thin in body with moderate bitter finish. Not bad, although watery and quite boring.

brown plastic bottle 1000ml. -brought to Zagreb by Slovak guys (thanks!) Murky amber colured, minimal off-white head, mild hops in the nose. Toasted malt, light caramel and light hops with mild fruity notes. Surprisingly ok hops presence but a bit too light overall.

Thanks to the Slovak crew! Poured a dark amber-red body with a small white head. Herbal notes from the (aroma) hop I guess in the aroma. The same remain, lighter in the taste, on top of some maltiness, light coffee, creamy. Good for the style and the ABV. I can see why this is the Slovak’s go-to beer.

(1 litre plastic bottle, BB 30 Maj 2014, courtesy of rosenbergh, 20140519) The beer poured deep reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had tartness, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, tart berries, wort and bitterness. Aftertaste had tart berries, sweetness and bitterness. A weird brew. I doubt the tart berries in the aroma and in the taste weren’t intentional.

Bottle @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Pours hazy dark amber with airy off-white head. Clear but faint aroma of malt and fruit. Sweetish, estery flavour, with roasty notes of malt and bitter, metallic touches, prevailing to the end. Skunky notes and touches of burnt plastic. Bad.
