Als Weissbierbock ist der ALOYSIUS der geschmacksintensivste Vertreter der handwerklich gebrauten Kuchlbauer Biere. Ein tiefes Rotbraun und die mächtige cremeartige Schaumkrone erfreuen das Auge. Hier hat man wirklich ein tolles Produkt vor sich. Nicht nur, dass das Bier mit einer weiten Palette mit Aromen von hefig über früchtig bis säuerlich-malzig kommt, sondern, dass diese wunderbar miteinander verknüpft sind und ein weicher Übergang zwischen den fruchtigen und herben Phasen überzeugt. Ein wirklich schönes, ausgewogenes Bier.

Bottle, 7.2%. Sourish and fruity aroma. Cloudy, muddy brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is yeasty and fruity, buttery, bready and citric. Not that good, actually.

Bottle. Pours fizzy, clear amber with quickly vanishing off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit and caramel. Sweetish, malty and caramellish flavour, with fruity, babanalike, and hoppy notes. Slightly dusty finish with acetic notes. OK.

Bottle from Mein-Biershop.de. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich malt, fruits, nuts, caramel and hops. Sweet and smooth.

Bottle from mein-biershop.de. Unclear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, caramel, banana and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish with a little alcohol. Soft and smooth. 090313

Bottle looks really good, beer in the glass also. Darker than exspected, very zippy. Starts strong, quite yeasty and dry. Fruity notes of apricot, a bit earthy. Finish strong and a bit alcoholic. All in all too yeasty and dry. Not my favourite.

500ml bottle. Hazy brown colourwith average, frothy, fairly lasting, off-white head. Fruity, wheaty aroma has notes of banana, pear, underlying caramel malty notes. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, hints of toasted bread, spicy, yeasty overtones. Strong, spicy Weizenbock.

Pours brown colour. Smells of banana, raisin and alcohol. The flavour is pretty much the same: dark fruit malt /chocolate with a raisiny finish and slight alcoholic harshness.
