(Draught at Biererei, Kreuzberg, Berlin, 10 May 2019) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grass, hay and fresh herbal hops. Malty taste with notes of bread, hay, grass and a balanced grassy/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Tasty and well made. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle, while watching a local soccer match somewhere in the Bavarian Woods. Aroma has some hops. A malty flavor at first, then the hops come in, resulting in a long slightly bitter aftertaste with some boiled milk.

Tap at Ostrý. Golden body, white head. Aroma... Light honey and grainy notes. Sweetish grainy notes in the taste too, also mixing with honeyish notes, almost no hops, just maybe some vague herbal touches. Ordinary, drinkable, okay.

Bottled 500ml. -from Getränke Degenhart, Grafenau. Yellow coloured, small white head, grain and cereals in the nose. Light malty, cereals, light acidic notes and some notes of grain with short dryish finish. Quite boring.

Holzfass at the Ettaler Holzfass-Festival. Clear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is fresh light sulphuric, cereal, noble hops. Taste is sulphuric, cereals, sweet mals, still with quite a dryish finish. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Good Munich-style Helles, but I believe condition is key here.

Gravity pour. Clear golden, white lace, nice dry grassy hops, medium light dry, light chewy grain, good grassy hop profile, Sulphur grassy finish. Very pleasant.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at a Danube boat in Linz, 20170530) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A different helles but still nice.

Tap at Zly Casy, Prague. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, grainy malt, floral hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a fresh light dry malty light hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation.
