Delicious helles lager. Perfect color with medium airy head. Aroma is biscuity and slightly sweet.Taste is spot on for the style, with a little lingering bitterness on the palate. Not overbearing, but enjoyable...

500ml bottle from Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Pale clear gold. Very thin white head. Good light beer, lacks a bit of the bite of the pils from the same brewery. But it’s simple and really drinkable. For a light simple helles this is outstanding it really is quite wonderful in its simplicity. On the Ratebeer hedonistic scale it wouldn’t rate highly as it is not showy, but it’s got a great hoppy bite on finish and so much drinkability in the mouth. Great. Some good lemon on the hop.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts spicy and sweet, a bit metallically in the middle. Finish spicy-wheaty. Not bad!
