Bottle from beerbay online shop spain, so this bottle has been around, given it is being rated like less than 50km from where it was brewed ;-) pitch dark, smooth brown head. aroma is vanilla, roasted malts, sweet nuts. flavor is sweet malts, sweet nuts, bitter malts, wood, oak, vanilla, very heavy flavor, also very delicious. oak flavor is high and it does well to balance the vanilla sweetness. good job.

33 cl bottle (12,5%) @ home, BBE 02/2025 Aroma has cocoa and chocolate. Also vanilla. Flavour has alcohol, bourbon, salty-ish licorice, cough syrup and semi-dark chocolate. Good slow sipper.

Bottle at tasting. Black pour. Aroma of sweet vanilla, red fruit, maple, caramel, licorice and chocolate. Taste has bitter vanilla, licorice, bitter maple, caramel and chocolate malt. Finally a bitter stout.

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2019) im 2020-05 getrunken. Dieses Stout kommt mit einer traumhaften dunkelbraunen Schaumkrone daher. In der Nase wartet es mit wunderbaren Pasty-Stout Aromen von gerösteten Haselnüssen wieder. Am Gaumen ist dann aber ein kräftiges IStout ohne eine typische Süsse eines Pasty-Stouts. Neben der kräftigen, aber sehr stimmigen Bitterkeit der Röstaromen und dem cremigen Mundgefühl fallen Noten von hochprozentiger Schokolade auf. Durch diese kompakten Aromen ist diese Stout nur langsam zu genießen. Wieder ein tolles Stout von Nerdbrewing.

Draught, half pint. @Birra! 2020 A Coruña. 08/02/2020 [#3.273 Global - #95 Sweden - #2 Nerdbrewing] Pitch black colour with a medium beige head. Aroma is full of vanilla and licorice. Taste is vanilla, whisky, soft coffee and wood. Strong vanilla aftertaste. Boozy finish. Good if you like vanilla. Next one please!

Tap.pitch black colour with off beige head.Aroma is sweet with taste of vanilla and whisky,nice warming mouthfeels chocolate and coco really nice overall.

Bottle 33 cl (thanks omhper!). Black, thick, oil-like appearance, good coffee foam. Powerful aroma: bread crust, roasted malt, whisky, coffee, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. Taste: strong, but soft, silky and pleasant, old whisky, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, light and pleasant sweetness, a powerful warming, light sourness from burnt malt and oak, very pleasant brew.
