Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours translucent gold with a very few bubbles. Aroma of mildly tart/sour peach with some bourbon notes. Med body. It’s fairly refreshing; tart peach and bourbon/wood notes. Not a lot of the latter, but maybe that’s good so the peach isn’t blocked. On the other hand there’s an astringency that seems wood. So it’s dry and the tart/sour substitutes for bitter. Even a little acidic. Very tasty stuff; maybe one of the best Almanacs yet.
