Six speciality malts; Goldings and Fuggles Hops; Coconut; Raspberries; Madagascan Vanilla Pods and Roasted Cacao Nibs amalgamate to produce a smooth white stout . Dark malts are omitted resulting in a paler beer with a creamy stout mouthfeel reminiscent of a confection first introduced in the 1930s and still going strong!

Can from somewhere, probably Middle Farm. Big Vanilla on the nose ans rapsberry on the taste. Odd but well made and I find White stouts are easy pleasures.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Clear golden. Berry, vanilla, cocoa, coconut, sweetish, somewhat artificial, weird bitterness.

Can from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Aroma mix of sweet smelling raspberry, malty chocolate, burnt coconut and all carried through with vanilla. Light amber. Opaque. Foamy white head. Initial very low key sour. Sugary sweetness then takes over. The underlying bitterness then asserts itself into the finish. The vanilla and raspberry are most prominent. Medium bodied. Slick mouthfeel. Wants to be oily. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Very sugary but decent stuff. However I have no point of referonce as I've never had Ruffles.
