Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6.5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 5 | Overall - 6
Small if stable tan-cream head over virtually black beer. Outspoken raw coffee nose, but with chocolate/cacao mixed in. Dark malts galore. I would have guessed lactose, but apparently not used. Dry cold coffee, watered down. Bit malt(roasted)cookies, roasted barley. Cola and almonds retronasal. Bit watery, lean-ish. Not creamy-chewy as a - much lighter - Guinness draught. OK, nothing more.
