(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big but non-persistent frothy white head. Sourish and slightly sweet wheat-malty aroma with a tinge of banana and spicy elements of cloves and nutmeg. Moderately sweet flavour with a light level of sourness, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Moderate wheat-character, slightly banana-fruity taste with notes of cardboard and light spicy phenols; almost watery but nevertheless sticky finish ླ.VIII.09)

Bottle (Diky Stockach!): Golden, a bit unclear, quickly collapsing white head; very inoffensive fruity-grainy nose; light sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied, but a bit oily; lemony traces in the sweetish-grainy finish. Oh no.....

bottle. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Fruity nose. Fruity flavours, not as lemony as expected. Hints of yeast, fruity-sourigh flavours, pleasantly malty-sweet.

The bottle looks not too bad, the beer in the glas also. Tastes very vapid, the finish is sourish. Tastes not like a kristallweizen. Not a good beer!

(Bottle 50 cl) "Spritzig frisch" the back label claims, and that’s exactly how it is. Clear golden beer with a bubby, heavy carbonation. Dry with only a vague hint of fruit and no real bitterness. I’ve always been impressed by the name of this brewery - try saying it aloud! 010902

Bottle. A bubblegum, orange/apple aroma - quite strong for a Kristall. Medium yellow clear color with small head. Slightly sour malt flavor - slight fruity flavor (banana/apple as well. Typical light watery palate of the style. More reminiscent of an American light beer than a Weizen.
