Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde (presumably). Cloudy black, stable, foamy, dark beige head. Aroma of fondant, cinnamon, gingerbread, black pepper, vanilla, bourbon, clove, chili sauce, teriyaki. Taste has sweet fig & date in a dark-chocolatey, pecan-nutty and toasty malt body with hints of spicy cinnamon and umami soy sauce. Black-peppery, earthy hoppy finish, lingering coffee roast, a soft chili burn and warming bourbon-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, average carbonation. Another solid Laugar stout.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is chocolate, roast, coffee, mild spicy with some cinnamon, mocha, a touch of soy sauce and liquorice. Mild to medium sweet and moderate bitter, medium body. Fine, but I hoped for more chipotle.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 01/2026. black color, small dark coffee colored head. smells coffee, cocoa nibs, some spices, pepper, earthy, some soy sauce, some wood. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, some soy sauce, berry notes, peppery, wood, liquerish, bit medical, subtle boozy, light coffee, subtle cinnamon. finishes lightly roasty and sweet with notes of pepper, wood and some berry notes. hmm, not bad, but also had better from Laugar. bit on the sweet side, flavours are all a bit muddled, nothing sticks at. Luckily only subtle pepper notes. I like it better when warm. Overall still quite good stuff.

Botella 33 cl de vivalabirra Oviedo tomada en Belmonte 03..03..2021. Color negro intenso con poca espuma beige oscura que desaparece al poco tiempo por completo. Sanores dominando suaves cacaos y café aunque bastante difuminados con el resto de ingredientes. Se oca muy poco el picante y ligeramente ahumada. Cuerpo medio a intenso con bastante sabor, fina y suave. Buena, para repetir.
