Bottled 330ml. -from Beerlovers Wien, shared with Hrabren. Blackish coloured, medium sized pale beige head, roasty nose with mild caramel. Light roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and sweetish finish.

A classical stout that I have picked up at Vienna, at March before this f.... covid 19. A classical and rather light stout, a perfect one before an imperial stout, smooth, side of roasted malt, dark chocolate, mineral, classical hop. 04.12.2020

Tap at Wiener Bier Festival. Very thin body, medium carbonation. Feels warming despite low ABV because there is very little malt flavour going around - also hinted by reddish brown colour, nowhere near the stout range. Soapy flavour, lots of grainy astringency. Low sweetness, quite dry. Hard to drink, not very good.

Bottle from brewery, many thanks Kurt. Very dark brown color with huge beige head. Aroma of dark malt, dark chocolate, caramel. Taste, dark malt, light peat, caramel, espresso, chocolate. Tasty.

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate malt, caramel. Taste of dark chocolate malt, caramel, lacto, vanilla.

Das Bier wird zwar als Stout betitelt, aber irgendwie passt es nicht ganz zu dieser Bestimmung. Es hat zwar einige Röstaromen, aber die Cremigkeit und das Schokoladearoma eines Stouts finde ich nicht wirklich. Auch als Schwarzbier ist es schwer zu erkennen, da es an Tiefe und Textur mangelt. Dafür hat es einen eigenen Charakter und das ist auch gut.

0.33 l bottle at Wrenkh Wiener Kochsalon. Black, small off-white head. Aroma is roasty and fruity. Red fruit, dried fruit, black olives. Light coffee or dark chocolate background. Straightforward malty. Not as smooth. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderately lasting finish. Well made, not spectacular. Good local everyday stout.

Bottle at Beer Store Vienna. Pours black with beige head. Aroma is roast, chocolate, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, chocolate, coffee. Finish is roast bitter. Body is on the thin side. Overall: ok.
