BB 05/2020. black color, small tan head. smells earthy, licorice, some smoked malts, bit ashy, light marzipan. nice smell. light body, soft carbonation. tastes of licorice, earthy, smoked malts, light marzipan, bit ashy, leathery, spices, peppery. finsihes dry and lightly roasty bitter with notes of smoked malt, ash and some marzipan. good one, rather on the dry and roasty side (probably also because of the subtle body) but not that I mind. nice beer, rounder once it warms up a bit. 7, 4, 7, 3,16
