Birra ad alta fermentazione. La Nigra è la quarta nata della famiglia Giustospirito ed è ispirata alla celebre birra scura tipica irlandese. Non lasciarti ingannare dal suo colore scuro e intenso: è sorprendentemente una delle birre più leggere della famiglia Giustospirito. Sul piano aromatico, però, rivela tutta la sua ricchezza, con un bouquet complesso che spazia tra note di torrefatto, liquirizia, caramello e crosta di pane. Una birra perfetta a tutto pasto, partendo dai primi, passando alla carne e finendo ai dolci al cioccolato… Ed è immancabile per celebrare la tradizionale festa di San Patrizio, il 17 marzo. Malti: Pale Ale – Roasted Barley – Fiocchi d’Orzo – Fiocchi d’Avena – Carafa – Carapils – Caramunich. Luppoli: Fuggle – East Kent Golding – Bramling Cross. Ingredienti: acqua, malto d'orzo, fiocchi d'orzo, fiocchi di avena, luppolo, lievito.

Tap at Lumiere. Dark brown color tan head. Quiet nose. Flavor of toasted malts maybe oats, some burnt notes charcoal and chocolate. A vague fruity sugar note otherwise relatively grassy. Light body, silky texture, a bit of stickiness/oil, soft carbonation, mild bitterness. Finish is clean, fairly savory.

0,1l taster from tap at the brewpub. Black color, small tan head. Smells Licorice, earthy, bit medical, bitter chocolate, decent smell. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes ashy, cigarette butts, peppery, leather, hints of bitter chocolate. Finishes dry and roasty bitter with notes of ash, cigarette butts and some light leathery notes. Lacks some balance, not that great to drink
