Swing top bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey golden with lots of tiny impurities and a small, off-white head. Malty nose with a slight tartness. Medium body, rustic makts and again this slight underlying tartness - not to an infected degree though. Subdued bitterness. 040326

Medium, stable white head over veiled, very carbonated golden beer. Creamy, bit diary notes and yeast. Fat grains, dry leaves. Again dry grains & malts, pretty sweet and little bit toasted. Light breadcrust. Well-carbonated, quite slick, medium bodied. Aftertaste is dry, almost giving dry-out aspects. Better than some of the Pinzgauer beers, but still far from stellar. Txs to Stef!

bottle from Kalea Bieradventskalender, Austria edition, @ Stiegl-Getränkemarkt Salzburg. Cloudy golden colour with a huge white head and fruty aroma, mango and papaya mainly. Medium-bodied, malty with intensive tropcial fruit flavours of mango and papaya, shy yeasty hint, pleasantly hoppy in the lingering finish. Wow, what a fragrant and aromatic Zwickel!
