Klare rötlich bräunliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger Geruch mit Karamell. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht röstmalzig mit Karamell. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

0,2l from tap at the brewpub. almost black colour, small tan head. smells of licorice, caramel, light sweetness, spices. decent smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, light caramel, earthy, light coffee, light ash, spices, light medical, light roast. finishes lightly toasty with notes of licorice and caramel and spices. quite good one, light mouthfeel but not watery, creamy taste, definitely one of the better Austrian dunkles.
