12 oz. can, thanks to Brett! Pours black, with a small, fleeting, tan head. The aroma is dark chocolate, toasted coconut, pumpernickel, maple syrup, and burnt toast. Maybe a touch of soy sauce. Sweet and syrupy, with a funky, roasted bitterness. Heavy body, with a syrupy, biting mouthfeel. This is a nice, smooth stout.

Everything the normal one is plus coconut. Represents an alternate universe in which Zhukov was involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis. Things turned out well for the beer in any case. Coconut, roast, and caramel. Dark chocolate and nut, leather. Pours black with good mocha head. Bittersweet end with a hint of smoke. Awesome balance. Can at brewery.

Got in a BIF from kmitch. 12 ounce can into snifter, canned on 8/11/2018. Pours dense pitch black color with a small fairly dense dark tan head with solid retention, that reduces to a minimal ring of lace. Minimal spotty lacing on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted coconut, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, molasses, fudge, brownie batter, marshmallow, roasted nuts, and dark bread; with lighter notes of vanilla, licorice, raisin, prune, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, leather, tobacco, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Slight booze in the aromas as it warms. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/black/bready malt, coconut, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted coconut, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, molasses, fudge, brownie batter, marshmallow, roasted nuts, and dark bread; with lighter notes of vanilla, licorice, raisin, prune, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, leather, tobacco, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light pine, herbal, peppery hops; and roast/charcoal bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted coconut, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, molasses, fudge, brownie batter, marshmallow, roasted nuts, dark bread, vanilla, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/black/bready malt, coconut, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a fantastic roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, bready, and rich mouthfeel that is fantastic. Light sticky hops and chalky char/roast. Lightly increasing warmth of 11.2%, with minimal lingering booze after the finish. Overall this is an amazing flavored Russian imperial stout! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/black/bready malt, coconut, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the huge ABV, with the mellowly bitter/charred/drying finish. Absolutely amazingly rich malt complexity and perfectly balanced toasted coconut flavors; with restrained fruity yeast and balancing earthy hops against sweetness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing spot on style example as expected. Flavors just kept getting more complex and amazing as it warmed up.

Poured from a 12 oz can dated May 11, 2018. Aroma is fairly coconut forward with some moderately strong chocolate notes and lighter roast notes. Some light alcohol spice. Light espresso, anise and molasses notes with a faint hint of vanilla. Pours black with a medium sized, medium thick, dark mocha head that quickly dissipates to the edges where it disappears. No lacing and long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with lots of rich chocolate notes and lighter caramel, toffee, molasses and roast notes. Faint anise and vanilla with medium coconut notes. Moderately strong bitterness and a bit of alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is full bodied and a bit sticky with medium to medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice stout. I wish there were a bit more coconut in the flavor, but it does allow the base beer to shine through.
