Das Vollbier der Brauerei Grasser gehört zu Recht zu den Klassikern in der Bamberger Region. Es verkörpert ein perfektes fränkisches Kellerbier. Klar filtriert begrüßt es im Glas mit seiner satten korngelben Farbe. Darüber steht ein fester, feinporiger, leicht beiger Schaum, feine Perlen finden zielstrebig ihren Weg nach oben ins weiche Schaumbett.
In der Nase findet sich das Getreide wieder, es duftet nach einem frisch abgeernteten fränkischen Kornfeld. Dahinter verstecken sich Aromen von Toffee und süßem Teig. Dieses Potpourri weckt die Lust auf den ersten Schluck, der die Zunge mit einem vollen, weichen und runden Geschmack umschmeichelt. Er wird abgelöst vom Eindruck einer Scheibe Vollkornbrot mit einer dicken Schicht Wildblütenhonig. Am Ende bleibt eine kurze, feine Bittere, die die Vorfreude auf den nächsten Schluck weckt.

Dumpf süßer Beginn, geringfügig helles Malz, mit der Zeit sogar leicht herb, erfrischend aber wässrig, weder besonders bierig noch besonders limonadig. Okay. 7/6/6/5/7/5

Bottle, poured into a Steinkrug. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is lemonade, grainy. Taste is lemonade, bready, cardboard, refreshing. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Decent Radler!

50cl bottle. Pours clear deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of sweet sticky lemonade, no beer. Taste of sticky lemonade, no beer, boring!!

In der Nase leicht zitronig, im Trunk süß, süffig, hintenweg etwas Malz. Gefährlich nah an Limonade.

Pours a cloudy golden color with tiny white head. Aroma with notes of citrus, lemon, The same are flavours with low carbonatinon.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear pale yellow with a off white head. Citrus, grain and a twist of lemon. A bit of bread and grain. Not entirely bad!

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, almost golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is mostly lemony, a hint of hops in the back. The flavor is pretty much the same. Some bitterness towards the end. Not bad, some quenching qualities. 100815

Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted, cereal, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, grain, cereal, citrus, artificial citrus.
