Schederndorfer Dunkles Landbier, 5,3 %, in der 75-cl-Weinflasche (Corona macht's möglich) von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Dunkles Kupferrotbraun, klar; schöner sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase warm toastiges Malz, Brotkruste und hintergründige hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk glatt und füllig toastig-dunkelmalzig mit dunkler Brotkruste, Kaffee, dezenter dunkler Frucht (Brombeere), Walnuß und solider hopfenwürziger Herbe. Darunter sehr dezente Malzsüße. Ganz dezente Asche. Milder rezent, vollmundig, sehr malztief. Im Abgang solide malzbitter und kernig hopfenwürzig-herb mit fein erdigen Zügen. - Enorm malztiefes Dunkles mit Tiefgang, das auf effekthascherische Aromen verzichtet aber eine geschmackliche Fülle und Dichte wie nur wenige bietet. Ganz große Klasse! Andere Bewertungen hier legen nahe, daß es im Geschmack schwankt. Wenn das stimmt, hab ich einen außergewöhnlich guten Sud erwischt. (6.3.2021.)

Keg at Zum Franziskaner. Dark reddish/brown with a creamy head. Bread, some roasted notes and hints of hay. Mild and easy to drink.

Well hidden in the beautiful small village of Schederndorf, I found this farmhouse brewery with adjoining pub, decorated with pictures of Formula I driver Michael Schumacher. The brewer was kind enough to fill a bottle with his tap only dunkel. Disappointing aroma with a bit of urine. Copper color. Malty flavor with a hint of toasted bread, licorice and pear (2.9). Re-rate september 2011. Tap in stone jug, Landferienhotel in Schwabthal. Malty, bready but also well hopped. Full bodied, almost meaty. Very well balanced and likeable landbier.

Keg at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm. Clear nut brown, rich creamy head. Toasty and floral. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Mild and soft. Bready and floral. Fairly low bitterness.

Draught (Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm) - Dark brown with red tinges and a foamy head. Cocoa, rye bread and plums in the aroma. Nutty and slightly roasted taste with cocoa, chestnuts, rye and some faint berry notes. Really nice, enjoyable and easy to drink.

Tap. Clear brown color with amber highlight and a creamy tan head. Aroma is earthy, lightly fruity yeast, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, juicy malts, fruity yeast, a bit sweet. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Extremely drinkable despite the sweetness!

On tap at Berggasthof Banzer Wald. 5.0 ish no idea what this is but it's something like what I have put in. Dark brown beer. Aroma is OK some malt in mouth some brown malt some herb. slight hop on finish better on finish than aroma. almost milk chocolate. not my thing bit grew on me. .

Draught @ Will Schederndorf. Pours amber Copper with an very creamy head. Light roastiness, nuts, grass and Bread. Crusty with a bitter finish. Dope!

Tap at the Franken Fest 2017, (Rome-Italy). Cola color, clear. Medium and quite tick cap. Nose is nutty, honey and caramel. Mouth is roasty, yeasty a bit. Soft carbonation and rich malty character. Very nice dunkel.

On tap @Bir&Fud (Rome). Pours deep golden with a medium white head. Aroma is malty, biscuits, honey, light hops. Flavour is well balanced but a bit boring. Medium body, medium carbonation. So so...
