Every Day Is A Good Day is the fifth installment in our Barn Quilt series, and is a gin barrel-fermented saison that we blended with a foeder-fermented saison and further aged in a mead barrel generously given to us by our friends at Pips Meadery. This barrel smelled absolutely amazing when we picked it up, and was originally a gin barrel that most recently held Call of the Void, their black currant mead. After months of additional aging in this barrel, we bottle conditioned the beer with local WI wildflower honey. The resulting saison is a beautiful patchwork of flavors and marries together wisps of gin botanicals, echoes of fruity vinous currants, and finishing notes of mead and sweet wildflower honey.

Bottle shared at Jimmy's farewell party. Pours a clearish orange gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Aromas of dried honey, citrus and pear on the nose. Palate is similar with a nice note of funk and oak. Finishes dry.
