Palatable Reserve Batch 3 is an imperial stout that was double barrel aged. It was first aged in a spent maple syrup bourbon barrel and finished aging in a Blanton’s Bourbon barrel. It’s smooth, with sweet maple syrup and chocolate fudge flavors followed by a warming sensation from the barrel. It's brewed in collaboration with Palate in Milford, MI, and the maple syrup inside the first barrel was from Droscha Sugarbush in Mason, MI - 15% abv

Draft at Drafting Table. Pours a pitch black with a small brown head that dissipates. Big bourbon aromas with brownie fudge and maple syrup as it warms. Vanilla, chocolate and more maple on the palate. Good body and carbonation with a bourbon-forward finish. Very good.
