This was a collaboration with a distiller from a certain local distillery. At its heart it is an American Strong Ale aged in bourbon barrels. Prior to sticking it in the barrel for 9 months, we added tea, orange juice, and lemonade. We then added more orange juice and lemonade prior to kegging to really get the bourbon slush flavor to come out.

Brewer's notes: The nose is bourbon slush... bourbon, orange juice, lemonade, and tea. The palate is drier than the aroma lets on but it is not overly dry. Orange and straight citrus really come out in the flavor. The bourbon is still there, just more subtle.
