(Bottle, 0.5 l, thanks VastActiv/TimoA, 20170707) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, grass and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts, grass, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A too sweet märzen.

→ Sehr leckeres Festbier! Vielen Dank an wastl! 12/12/11/12

Neder St. Anna Festbier, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Goldbraun, klar, bescheidene Schaumentwicklung. (6.8.2014: 2,7.) Mild rezent, vollmundig, etwas breit. Im Abgang fein orangenfruchtig- hopfenwürziger Hopfen. Im Nachtrunk leicht erdige Bittere. - Kräftig malziges aber ein wenig mattes Festbier. Reicht nicht an das Neder Export heran. (3.8.2021.)

Bottled as Hebendanz Annafestbier bought at Landbierparadies. Golden with a short lived white head. Light, slightly corny aroma with a touch of fruit. Flavour was sweet, with caramel and sherbet stoned fruits, some solid malts and gently bitter fish. Ok.

Day Two of the Great Chris Meyer/Aaron Nielsen Franconian Beer Tasting in Schlitz. Prost! Somewhat hazy, dark golden appearance with a white head. Fairly grassy, noble hoppy, toasty, cracker, herbal/floral hoppy, somewhat mineralic aroma. Quite pale malty, a bit fruity, toasty, grainy, somewhat floral hoppy flavor. Very similar to an Oktoberfestbier rather than a Märzen.

Bottle @ Brewery, Buttenheim. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Malty nose and flavor. Grassy hops and bread. This was a bottle from the year before but still quite tasty. Medium and smooth palate. Dry and hoppy end.

Golden with a small white head. Sweet honey and bees wax aroma with grainy malts. Sweet and grainy malt flavour, with a herbal touch. The sweetness gets cloying

Draught at Annafest09. The flavour is fruity and yeasty. Has a hint of sourness, but no more than tolerable. Looks dark golden in the mug. Small tan head. A bit papery flavour.
