@ Annafest, the only place to rate such beers. Ceramic mug. Thick head. Hearty aroma - woody caramelly rich dark malt. Quite alcoholic for its size, though, with toasty and brown sugary notes. Too boozy in the finish, not much fun compared to the oth

Bottle at GBBF kindly shared by Jan and Charlotte (I think?) 05-08-09 My notes are unfortunately rather scant on this beer suffice to say that I rather enjoyed this gold beer with a white head, it was soft in the mouth with a good though gentle hoppy presence. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4

On tap at GBBF 08. Deep gold, thin beige head. Not much of a fest bier. It’s fine, a bit bocky even. Nice drinkability. Soft, creamy in mouth. Nice.

Draught at Annafest, Forchheim. Amber colour, small head. Fruity and caramelly with solid chewy malt. Dryish dense sweet malt. Bold and grainy with light resiny bitterness. Solid, but not the smoothest of festbiers.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear golden with diminishing white head. Malty with notes of grains and some acidity. Flavour is malty with a slight edge and with a bit of alcohol feel. Ends with a bitterness that gains in strength for each sip.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours a clear, deep golden with a small, rough, white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium body with a fairly solid malt base and a dry, hoppy finish. Well crafted. 311007
