Taking inspiration from the home of the American IPA, Potrero Hill is a crisp, hop-forward beer for the true hop-heads. With a malt base dialled right back to allow the blend of pungent American hops to really shine through in all their fruity, resinous glory. San Francisco has been a brewing town for over 100 years, but has truly been leading the charge since the 1960s. So when we were looking for inspiration for our IPA there was really only one place to look.

Including an IPA in our core range was a certainty, but in an age of New England juice-bombs, was going West Coast the right option? That was however, a pretty short debate and the clarity of hop flavour we fell in love with from true American IPAs won out!
