Flasche („Gilde Ratskeller Premium Pils“, 33 cl) von einem Kiosk im Bahnhof Hannover. - Pilsgelb, blank. - In der Nase etwas künstlich wirkende Zitronenschale. - Antrunk gut zitronig-herb aber etwas leer. Gut rezent, etwas dünn. Kräftig bitterer, leicht schwefeliger Abgang. Langer, schroff bitterer Nachtrunk. - Gut bitteres, etwas derbes Pilsener ohne jegliche Raffinesse. Brauchbar aber kein Genuß.

0.33l bottle from galeria kaufhof at hanover train st., 0.79€. pours a clear sunny yellow with a small white head and little lacing. aroma of sweet grains, grass, hay, a hint of floral hops. flavour of flowers, grass, cereals. slightly sweetish, but nice and crisp, reminds me of waldhaus or alpirsbacher (or, indeed, veltins).

*Old rating, best before 07.04. Würzig-nettes Pils. Sehr trocken, rund, feinherb im Nachgeschmack. Nett, aber etwas neutral-herb. .

Bottle looks very simple, almost a bit cheap. Beer in the glass not too zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, soft-malty, some wheaty notes. Finish a bit drier without being too much. Not bad!

50 cl bottle bought from Rewe in Hanover. BB 05 11. Sampled on December 27, 2010Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, sugary, malty, vegetable scent. Sweet, malty taste with a dry, grainy, bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.

33 cL bottle, opened by my wife while getting beer...note to self: always call back if she called you beforehand. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and mild citrusy. Bitter and cornish, slight grassy. Dry bitter finish.
