Bottle. A clear, slightly pale golden beer topped by a finger-thick white head. Slightly sourish on the nose, with pale malts and fruits. The flavor is pretty much the same, finishing with a little metallic note and hints of bitterness. Medium body. An easy drinkable beer that isn’t pronounced enough. 091202

Bottled (BB 10/2009). Golden color, good white head, lace. Light cardboard, malty grassy hops. Very dusty-grassy hops in the flavor. Harsh hoppyness. Slightly skunky too. Although it has bitterness, hop profile tastes cheap.

Bottle (333ml) Golden, smaller creamy white head; papery-grassy nose with a grainy-worty background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, but a bit sticky; vegetables in the bitter-sweet finish. Another boring german Pilsener, out of the endless Warsteiner-Bitburger-Radeberger row..............

bottle. Clear golden yellow with a large and creamy white head, very persistent. Full-bodied, rather malty for a Northern German Pils. Pleasantly hoppy.

Bottled. A golden beer with a fluffy off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very bready combined with a slight note of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, bread, and a crisp hop note, leading to a quite bitter finish.

Danke an Stöpsel für das Bier! Frischer und herber Antrunk, der genau so in den Mittelteil übergeht. Dort ist eine gewisse Hopfigkeit zwar zu erkennen, erscheint aber recht unwichtig. Etwas muffig geht’s dann weiter. Höchstens durchschnitt, da recht langweilig. Test vom 13.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,7,6,6,6 - 6,40

(33cl bottle, with thanks to Stöpsel and Indy of BTO for the sample) Clear, pale golden colour with a small foamy white head. Slightly sweet malty aroma with a light herbal hoppy note and a touch of band-aid. Light bitter flavour, light to medium body, spritzy carbon. Soft malty base, weak herbal hops in the background; dryish, moderately bitter finish with faint hoppy notes. Very average example of the style.

Bottle, 4.9%. Bready aroma. Clear golden colour, small stable white head. OK mouthfeel. Bready flavour turning malty with OK bitterness. 4 3 5 3 11

Draught. Clear pale yellow colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is rather thin, not so malty and not much hop aroma or flavour. 4 3 4 3 11
