Pleasingly Tart and Refreshing
The beer is brewed to be pleasingly tart and refreshing using a traditional kettle souring method, similar to our renowned and award-winning Gose series of beers. Tropical flavors are introduced in the fermentation process through the use of real guava and passion fruit. Finally, we found that leaving the beer hazy resulted in a more aromatic beer and added to the overall balance of the beverage. As a bonus, we kept it low-calorie and low-carb.

Kids, you might not believe it, but Anderson Valley was once a respectable brewery. I know, you think they just make thin guava passion fruit juice flavored thin sours. Really light on the palate.OK for what it is.

ABV: 4.2%. Cloudy - hazy looking with a medium yellow colour, a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy passion fruit, guava, tart. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, sweet fruit, passion fruit, guava, fruity, thin, moderate dry to dry, sour, tart. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20240214]

Can (from Beer Republic). Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity and some mild wheat, citrus. Flavour is floral, peachy, some nectary and mild dry wooden tones with some slight passionfruits.

Pours hazy amber with a huge, fluffy, white head. Aroma of lactose, raspberries. Taste has pleasant sour element, guava, some citrus. Palate has more guava, light citrus, sticky passionfruit note on the tongue. Excellent.
