Bottle at Robertos Tasting Room, Birmingham. Poured almost black in colour with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, light sour, with a rich, roasty, raisin, tart raspberry palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 30/07/21. Pitch black with a golden tinged khaki covering that soon dissipates edgewards. Nose is smoked malts, peat, charr, ashen tones, burn toffee, dried fruits. Taste comprises bitter sweet fruit rinds, medicinal kiss, dates, charr, bitter roast, cacao nibs, light cherry skins, burnt sugars. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good level of Laphroaig and a light balanced boost. Solid stuff for a peated number ... maintains a good balance and doesn't get run away smoked and medicinal.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Wingman. An oily dark brown coloured pour with a fine dark tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, sinnamon, toffee apple, singed brown sugars, cinnamon pastry, nutmeg, jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, tangy dried fruits, burnt cake, cinamon and nutmeg spices, brown sugars, toffee apple, little lingering banoffee . Palate is medium sweet, and tangy, full bodied, moderate carbonation.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Almost black colour with a slim tan head. Aroma peaty then slight cherry. The taste has smokey peat which gives way to sweet but light chocolate and cherry. Smooth full body.
Cherry and tonka dominant. A hint of peat to finish, slight cloying sweetness in the mouth. Soft and light
