This series of herbal beers is dedicated to the seasons. Each beer stands for a particular season, so you can drink your way through the year. We used rosemary from our family garden, which lend the beer its herbaceous and woody aroma. This blend is matured on average 10 month in red wine barrels.

Clear amber to red beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: caramel notes, dried fruits, bit malty, cheesy, little dirty, spices and herbal, something weird, urinals. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, fruity, red fruits, lots of strawberries, strawberry jam, red currants, little bitter, herbal. Aftertaste: acidic finish, fruity, bit juicy, strawberry notes, nice!

Kemker Tasting live: cloudy, mahogany color and a white head. Sour, nice rosemary-herbal nose. Warming taste. Acidic, vinous, plums. Medium to full body. Intense mouthfeeling. Pretty good!

Aus der Flasche (bbe 15.02.2024) im 2021-04 getrunken. Dieses dunkle-kupferfarbende Bier kommt mit einer sehr kurzweiligen Schaumkrone daher. In der Nase und Gaumen kommt wunderbar die Rotweinfassreifung durch und der Einsatz von Rosmarin rundet dieses Gruit nur ganz dezent im Hintergrund ab. Auch hier zeigt Kemker das sie es schaffen in ihren Bieren eine wunderbaren Harmonie der Aromen und Säure hinzubekommen. Im Abgang bleiben die Aromen wunderbar stehen ohne aber aufdringlich zu sein. Klasse!
