Notre India Pale Ale, IPA, est une bière ronde bien plus houblonnée que nos autres Choue. Elle doit son amertume à son histoire ; pour protéger la bière pendant les longs voyages en bateaux, les britanniques eurent l’idée d’ajouter plus encore de houblon, puisque c’est un conservateur. Si l’IPA est puissante et très aromatique, c’est une blonde à part entière. Légèrement ambrée, son amertume laisse progressivement la place à de subtiles notes de céréales.

A hazy dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of ripe stone fruits, herbs, resins. Taste of dry resinous bitter hops, pine, strong grains, long bitter finish.

Süffiger, dunkler und herb-karamelliger Hopfenbeginn. Milde Süße, geringe Bitterkeit, etwas brotig. Spritzig, mittellanger Abgang, gelungen. 10/9/10/10/8/10

33cl bottle from E.Leclerc PIERRY supermarket in France. Head is huge, tan, long lasting. Colour is deep gold, hazy. Aroma is malty, citrus, caramel, orange, bit herbal. Taste is medium malty base, orange, herbal, grapefruit, pine touch, floral, decent bitterness, medium to high carbonation, ok nothing memorable, drinkable.
