Mnoho týdnů ležel na jemném francouzském dubu, který přidal k bylinnému aroma chmele Saaz Special náznak toastové praženosti a jeho rafinovanou hořkost doplnil jemným dřevitým aroma. Lager can take many different forms. This one is on a traditional note, brewed with a high amount of unmalted barley to achieve a fuller mouthfeel. We lagered it for many weeks on fine French oak that added a hint of toastiness to the herbal aroma of Saaz Special hops and slight woody bite to its refined bitterness. True timeless classic to be enjoyed any day of any century, so how about today?

Can 0.5l. Lightly cloudy, pale gold colored. AROMA- malty, noble hops, grain, touch of yeast, oak. FLAVOR- a bit sweet, slightly bitter, malty, noble hops, nice tones of wood. Medium bodied. Great lager, balanced, tasty, oak gives it a new dimension.

Clear golden color with medium white head. Aroma: malt, light yeast, floral hoppy notes. Taste: malt, floral hop notes, dry oaky finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Ok, but nothing special.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren, thanks! Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty and light grainy nose. Grainy, yeasty, weak wood and touch of plastic with short bitterish finish.

Canned. Hazy yellow body, sihny, thick white head. Flowery aroma, malty notes. Grainy, lightly eggy, yolky notes, flowery hoppy touches, traces of wood, generally a pretty solid lager by all means.

0.5 l can from Prague, thanks Marko. Shared with Ogi and him. Clear pale golden to golden, small white head. Grainy aroma, no oak profile, some herbs and grass. Light, thin, moderate carbonation, grainy flavour, light finish.

Can via Pivny raj. The wood aging imparts only the faintest hint of woody character. Overall I rather get a bit basementy yeasty character, kinda dank, moderately grainy, hints of oxidation too. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. Good, interesting, but not great.
