In this epic battle, the Blood of the Unicorn has been shed by the sword of the deadly assassin of the east. One sip of this aggressively hopped red ale clearly reveals what drives these, the greatest of, hop heads of lore. Is this the end of the mythical horned horse? Or will he rise like the phoenix to fight another day?

Nice Red IPA. Tastes like it might have a little or some Vienna malt in it nice malty quality with a little roasty sweetness. Hops are good, they're not over fresh. Nice body and finish.

Very dark brown red color.’massively dry hopped with dried strawberries and citrus notes that are fantastic. The mouth is slightly astringent and very hoppy, but the mouth isn’t balanced and lacked bitterness. Overall it’s not bad but could be tweaked

Pours a dark, reddish-brown, with minimal head. Aroma has a touch of basement dankness, with citrus, some roasted grain/malt, a touch of breadiness, and some pine/spruce hops. Flavor is quite bitter, with the pine/spruce hoppiness in the forefront. There's some citrus, some bread, some grassiness. Did I imagine a touch of roasted grain with my first sip? It wasn't there on subsequent swallows. Finish is rather bitter. This stuff is pretty good.
