On tap at Lagunitas - Petaluma, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with piney hops, a bit of tropical fruit, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is loaded with piney hops, gentle fruitiness, and crisp biscuity malt. Bright and piney, with a really vibrant hop character. Excellent.

Good, nothing too exciting but a welcome showcase for the Alsatian Elixir hop; interesting how it develops recognizable red grape notes, especially as the beer settles on the palate. Backed up by veins of grapefruit, papaya, earth, and grain, with a gentle citrus finish and a clean fade. Could use a little more oomph on the back end, but still a nice pint.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark, brassy gold with a decent tho transient white head. Aromas of red berry and grass with lightly roasted malt. Approaching full bodied. Flavors of red berry, grass and some following spice. Light roast malt in support. Well towards dry. Definitely bitter. Floral/spice in the finish. Just a bit malty for me, but the hop works that out. Good.
