440ml can purchased from Tesco and drunk at home. Light yellow/gold and hazy with a large and slightly rocky white head. Subtle aroma of melon, stone fruit, some grapefruit, a touch of pine. Gorgeous balanced taste, juicy and sweet with a bitterness just circling the finish, with more stone fruit, a touch of savoury cooking herbs right at the end. Body’s thin for the ABV with low to medium carbonation. After so many out and out juice bombs in this style, it’s so refreshing to try a nuanced beer. Excellent.

440ml can from Battle of Bill, Cheras, Malaysia. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, juicy, pineapple, lemon, lime, light floral, dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

At VMfest 22. Hazy pale yellow color, white head. Aroma is citrusy and lemon-ish up front. Flavor is similar, lightly mellowed down so less sharp and pronounced but still dominating. Some tropical fruit flavors in the background as well, which after a while come through a bit more. Makes it nicer. Solid but not really my style of IPA. 5-6-7-7-6
