A crackling beer, brewed with a blend of pale and roasted malts, and all English Hops. A deep chestnut colour ale, with a herbal and spicy hop flavour set against a background of roasted malt flavours. A beer with depth of character and a satisfying bitter finish.

25/9/2020. Cask at the Arcade Street Tavern, Ipswich. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of dried fruits, caramel, citrus, malt, biscuit, fruit cake and slight spicy earthy notes. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, watery, low carbonation. Nice aroma and looked good but lacked body.
