Built on a dual algorithm written alongside our friends from Sun King Brewery, this new, complex Imperial Ale was brewed with maple sugar, dark candi syrup, and a blend of Belgian yeast cultures. An early switch from Tennessee whiskey to Kentucky bourbon barrels ensured the integrity of the code–with the addition of unfermented blackberries for balancing sweetness and subtle tartness.

Burk från Revolution, 2018. Lite murken kloakbrun med något lila-röda toner. Tungt, maltigt, quad:iga toner, mjuk bärighet och bara lätt syrlig touch från björnbären. Gifter sig snyggt med belgiska jästen. Vissa hetta från fat och alkohol. Gott.

Can shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a clear deep purple with a white head that starts at the edges and dissipates completely. Aroma has bourbon and sweet grains with some maple and blackberry underlying. Flavor has sweet grains and vanilla with a good amount of maple and a touch of blackberry underlying. Odd combo.
