Kraftpaules erstes Bier ist fertig! Unser Helles ist eine kräftige Kampfansage gegen Massenbierhaltung, mit durchtrainiertem Malzkörper und dezentem Hopfenhaken in die Leber. Gebraut wurde es im traditionellen Zweimaischverfahren. Eine Mischung aus Cara, Pilsner und Münchner Malz verleiht ihm eine leichte Bernsteinfarbe. Das Bier wurde im Whirlpool mit Hallertau Monroe gehopft. Dieser Hopfen gibt dem Bier nochmals eine leicht süssliche Note. Das Kraftpaule Helle ist ein sehr rundes, süffiges Bier. Dr. Paule empfiehlt deshalb: "Führe dir den Kolben mehrmals täglich zur Kauleiste und dein Bizeps wird stramm wie meiner."

500 ml bottle. Unclear orange golden with a fluffy head. Grain, bread, lemon zest, slightly metallic. Dry bitterness, grainy sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry grainy finish. A good Helles.

Mild süßer, angenehm getreidiger Beginn. Weiche Herbe, frisch, mild würzig, rund. Dezent bitter im Mittelteil, eher trocken hopfig. Langer Ausklang. Erfrischend. 10/11/12/11/10/11

50cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mid sweet grainy malt, pale malt, straw. Taste of mid sweet pale malt, straw, grains, easy.

On tap at Kraftpaule, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light herbal notes, a little grass, and biscuity malt. Flavour is clean, with gentle herbal notes and biscuity malt. Doesn't have the vibrancy or crispness of some of the better helles beers, but it's clean. Okay, but boring.

Tap. Cloudy golden, white layer. Sour grain, fruit notes, strawberry, medium light mellow body. Foamy. Somewhat infected unfortunately.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is bready yeasts, mild fruit, sour fruits as well, barnyard, cooked peas. Taste is bready, grainy, tart fruits, sour, peas, soapy. Dusty malts as well. Silky mouthfeel with almost fizzy carbonation. Is the sourness intended?
