After just a couple of days of bog-standard malty lagers, it was nice to crack open this proper IPA. 330ml bottle from La Botica de la Cerveza in Málaga. Pours hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Strong tropical fruit, melon, mango and citrus aromas. Bitter taste, more tropical fruit. Bitter finish. Good.

Bouteille 33cl, merci Carles @ NY Eve diner tasting in Verges. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet fruité tropical, agrumes, citron vert et léger pamplemousse. Palais est fruité léger, pointe de résineux avec un léger effet épicé, note huileuse, rappel de c-hops.

0.33l bottle. Hazy orange color with medium white head. Aroma: pomelo, tangerine, pine, blood orange. Taste: juicy, resins, grapefruit, tangerine, just enough malty base to leave hops shine. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate to high bitterness. Easy drinking, hops centered leaving long bitter dry finish.

Bottle from Salt Horse Edinburgh and drunk on the train home. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Very hoppy aroma. Piney. Touch of liquorice bizarrely. Not the best ipa. Some medicinal liquorice flavour. Odd. Bit fizzy.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 2. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is lovely big NEIPA cheese, low oily citrus. Taste is lovely round cheese, faint lactose, pleasant floral finish. Lovely round cheese NEIPA body. Really great stuff & out of Spain, these guys Pale Ale was also quite solid.
