Bottle from Colmado l’estuca, Girona, 33cl, 6.8%. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grass, onions and garlic, farm funkyness. Taste is wat too grassy, that in combination with the onions and garlic makes it almost undrinkable.

Bottle at home in Havkney - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Vibrant hoppy aroma, a little dank, with hops of mango, pine, tangerine. Light-medium sweet flavour with rounded juicy citrus and lovely piney bitterness interplay, along with more tropical notes, light alcohol, melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Well balanced finish, lightly resinous, with more good balance between piney and punchy and bright and juicy. Seriously drinkable, and with nice depth.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of pineapple, mango, citrus, crispy malt and tropical fruit hop. Taste has pineapple, mango, mild pine, citrus, tropical fruit zest and nice fresh hop. A delicious ipa. The other Dutchies are of course hyping the stuff, but not entirely unjustified.

Bottle @ Benzai, 10 cl sample. Slight hazy pale golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, and just the slightest hint of cookie. Taste is mainly focused on clean and crisp bitterness, without any cookie or caramelly sweetness. Body is almost thin, but therefore clean and crisp, reminding me of the high scoring American IPAs. Very solid stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Basqueland Imparable IPA on 10 Sep 2017 at 08:57 - Score: 8
