Cette bière spéciale, à la couleur dorée et à la mousse crémeuse et persistante, déploie une infinité de subtilités. La sélection des meilleurs orges et houblons, Hallertau et Strisselspalt, apporte à Licorne 1845 une dominante houblonnée accompagnée d’accents maltés.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Spicy malty aroma. Starts fine malty, spicy, mild sweetness. Herbal-spicy background. Shy alcohol notes. Finish more balanced. Mild bitterness. Okay.

Petite bouteille (11/40 litre; merci le professeur!): Golden to deep golden, a bit unclesr, small and stable creamy head, visible carbonation, sweerish metallic nose with a grainy and dusty background; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; shorter sweet-bitter (what else?) finish. At least drinkable…
