Barrel-Aged Farmhoue Ale With Cherry.
This beer started life as a Belgian Pale - a collab with our good friends at Bang The Elephant. I barrel-aged it for 9 months , added a load of cherries (that my Mum grew) and a bit of lactose to balance the sourness. Hey presto - Cerise!

Bottle from Hoptimism. Pinkish colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are sweet to tart cherry. Smooth and crisp.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Appearance - a massive gusher. The 30% that remains is deep pink to amber. Pinkish white head. Nose - balsamic wood cherry and soft funk. Taste - more soft woody funk with subtle cherry. Palate - light to medium bodied. Soft tartness through the finish. Overall - what was left after the gusher was nice.
